Fifth Third Recognized on America’s Most Responsible Companies and America’s Greenest Companies Lists by Newsweek

CINCINNATI— Fifth Third (Nasdaq: FITB) has been named to the America’s Most Responsible Companies and America’s Greenest Companies lists by Newsweek. This is the sixth consecutive year Fifth Third has been named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies by Newsweek.

Newsweek’s America’s Most Responsible Companies 2025 rankings focus on a holistic view of corporate responsibility, including how well businesses support the communities in which they belong. The list is curated from KPI research of more than 30 performance indicators and a survey of 26,000 US residents. Survey respondents were asked to select companies familiar to them and evaluate the company’s CSR performance in general and in the three subdimensions: social, environmental and governance.

America’s Greenest Companies 2025 recognizes the top 500 companies in the U.S. based on environmental sustainability. The list is derived from research and analysis of public data of public and private organizations in the U.S., that meet the minimum standards set by the European Union. Companies were evaluated and scored on more than 25 parameters based on 4 categories: greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, waste generation and sustainability data disclosure and commitments.
